Poll: Bmw F30 Black or Chrome Grills ? Vote?

Hi guys I am asking on here - F30 forum they will all say black

Prior to fitting I thought chrome should be reserved for SE and LUX models... now I am not sure about them..

Opinions please or can this be made a vote

Xenons improve the front end massively on these. Assuming from the image you didn't retrofit the washers, but did you retrofit the levelling sensors?

Actually think chrome looks better, looks classier. The black grilles tend to be favoured by "M badge" brigade.

They are not OEM xenons they are from DEPO (Eurowagons) They are a direct swap with no modding required at all

They only require washers when fitted from new. Hate washers anyway.. always spoil car spraying all over bonnet

Ahh I see. Wasn't querying the legality, just wondered if you'd have issues fitting OE ones as it would expect the levelling and washers to be there.

I did similar to my z4 in a sense that I painted centers black and left the outers chrome.

You can do a proper OEM conversion but it's real PIA. 99.9% of F30 owners just buy the DEPO ones

The sooner we move on from this stupid obsession with black wheels and trim, the better. Black is what you wash off your car, not add to it.
