Hello,

I need some advice on the aftermarket models as cooling and noise levels are my top priority - i do not want a founders edition style blower, they are out of the window!

I've owned many gpu's from the 280x / 780 ti / 970 / 980 ti / 1070 / 1080 with many cooling solutions e.g. armor x2 / Amp edition / G1 gaming / twin frozr / acx 2.0 etc.. with mixed results.

I was rather surprised how good the armor x2 was on a 980 ti i owned and this was the most 'basic' of cooling solutions.

Inno3D
GeForce GTX 1080Ti Twin X2 11264MB GDDR5X PCI-Express Graphics Card (N108T-1SDN-Q6MN)

Whats the cooling solution & noise like on this card? - if its good , it seems this is the smart buy @ £689!?

Gigabyte
GeForce GTX 1080Ti Turbo OC 11264MB GDDR5X PCI-Express Graphics Card

Same Q'n - whats the joise/cooling perf like? @ £698 its only £10 more expensive and a better brand.

whats your guys thoughts on these cheaper after market solutions ?

edit: are these pictures representative of the actual cooler?

Most of the after market coolers will be the same, offering better cooling but it dosnt mean it will clock any higher, I would look for a long warranty and good RMA service. the founder cards at least dump the hot air out of your case, and might be the way to go for smaller case's.

i have mid tower case.

Ah fs man....
Blowers and founders are £690 - £740
AIB's - £750 - £850

Same GPU but cooling systems variance of £50 - £160. (different PCB in a handful of cases) someone's taking the pisss, either manufacturers charging retailers too much for their cooling solutions or retailers are taking my eyes and come back for the bliddy sockets

Will check Gigabyte but if the Gigabyte Turbo To is like the 1080 version which was based on the Windforce/G1 board.
The Turbo Ti should also be based on the Triple fan version . Will double check

I'm pretty sure he said he would be able to do a deal on the G1 gaming pictured, which wouldn't mean for no cost, perhaps a few quid off the normal G1 price...

Incorrect as of this morning, I have upgraded every single order placed for the Turbo, to the Gaming edition, which cost £71.00 more for no additional charge, we had 14 orders in total and they have all being upgraded as of 11:50am March 11th 2017, any orders placed after this time will not get an upgrade as the images are now correct for this model. :)
