X34 G-SYNC and tearing

OK got myself an X34...but I have tearing , i was just in BF4 ( test range ) and was getting loads of tearing , any ideas please ?

Is G-Sync showing as active in nvidia settings and on monitor?

Are you playing BF4 in windowed mode and not got it switched on for that?

Yeah sorry D3 it seems I didnt have Vsync set to " on " in the NCP , my mistake sorry

Fastsync may be better (if you have a single GPU)

Well Jedi it's a G-Sync Monitor , and thats on within the Monitor itself , but in the NCP the Vsync was set to use the default 3D application , so I changed that to "on" and with Overdrive on extreme and also setting the refresh rate to 95Hz , it looks as it should

I preferred to use Fastsync with my X34 due to reduced input lag.

Ahh OK, gotta say though I'm really happy with it actually as I've been tweaking ( or trying to ) it, even more so considering I paid half price for it too

Interesting that you've bought an expensive premium like Gsync and elected not to use it. I'd be gutted if I bought an X34 and found not to like Gsync; Gsync is the main thing I'm after.

Fastsync doesn't disable Gsync :confused:

Unless you're talking about my switch to the LG?

Then I show off my ignorance again ha. Sorry I thought all sync techs would be off with Gysnc. I bet fast sync and gsync on is very nice and smooth...
