I need suggestions please £1500 (uk) build

So i am going to be treating myself to a nice new PC and have £1500 to spend,It will mainly be for PC gaming but i do some video editing also.
I have come here because i want some advice on the best value for money,I am not into 4K gaming so i would not need to go there,I game at 1080p and that is fine for me.
I,m also a big music lover so if say the motherboard had really top quality audio additions that would be sweet.
I already have a SSD which i will be keeping along with a 3TB hard drive that i have all my video editing stuff on. So i wont need any drives,I also have a copy of windows 10 so i wont need that either.
Just want to get some ideas on what would be a good place to start.

I,m looking for some considerable gains over what i currently have

Keeping the case? can probably keep the CPU cooler too.

No i am selling this current PC.So only the two drives and my windows 10 key. There is a 3rd drive so i will wipe that and leave that in and just sell it then.

There isn't really much wrong with what you've already got. Stick a normal GTX 1080 in there and a decent sound card and you'll be sorted. Maybe up the RAM to 16GB if you find you're struggling with memory usage.

Well my cpu is old and not very good considering what's available now, for my £1500 I could get a nice system that makes my current one look weak.
I just feel there are so many upgrades available now and my current system feels dated.

Hard not to recommend the R7 1700 tbh. Could easily also fit a GTX 1080 in there, and if you're fast there's lots of deals on those right now.
