It's going to get to a point where you'll have to ask to see their ID before a one night stand. Ridiculous.

So easy to ruin a man's life, even more so now that young girls are looking far older than they really are these days.

There is no 'ifs' about it, a child with a stable and positive upbringing would not be partying and getting drunk at 12.

Indeed, I'd bet her life wouldn't be exactly straightforward either. Many young people face challenges that many adults find difficult to deal with and somehow they are still judged when they react unexpectedly.

I didn't say parenting was black and white, but you only see children from broken homes doing stuff like that.

Do you? I've also seen it in families with strict parents too. The kids rebel and end up doing stuff they shouldn't.

I've dealt with a 13 year old girl for stabbing a similar aged boy in the hand with a knife. Her um and dad were absolutely normal, supportive and decent parents. The reasons she went off the rails were complicated but she certainly wasn't from a broken home. Things are rarely as simple as you suggest.

Yeah, stuff like smoking cigarettes or bunking off school. Not going to an adult-dominated environment and getting smashed, that's far from 'rebellious' that's a total lack of guidance and care.

Of course, but statistics don't lie, pretty sure you've had run-ins with groups of youths where the parents couldn't give a toss what they got up to.

Sorry but that's nonsense. I remember in my late teens there was a couple of young girls round where I live from very good homes. Both were filthy little tramps.

Yes a broke home is more likely to produce such children but there are, unfortunately, those that are just ****birds for the fun/sake of it.

I guess if other people also thought she was older than 16 it must be the case but I do find it hard to believe.
