Why does that first tea of the day taste so fantastic? I'm lying in bed with a large mug of hot strong tea, and it's refreshing me, quenching my thirst, and making me feel like I'm ready to get up and forge an empire from the blood of provincials.

Tea is great.

Yep, I love my tea, I used to be a coffee person, but I found that really caused me loads of pain in the form of acid reflux to the point of waking up at 3am thinking I was having a heart attack. I stopped loads of different things, but cutting out coffee made a huge difference. So I began drinking tea, now I really look forward to a decent cuppa if I'm honest! Can't beat the first one of the day though, slice of toast with rosemary's lime marmalade perfect match up!

Every cup of tea I make is amazing. I preheat the cups and spoon with boiling water, then one Yorkshire Tea bag per cup. Agitate well before standing for six mins. Squeeze bag against the side of cup and add plenty of milk.

After yesterdays hangover I'm up and at them now, had a great shower, shave and now sat with a cup of Twinings Everyday ready to tackle Costco's

Coffee for me also. Used to like Tea but the wife can't make it the I like it as she puts the milk in first.

But more importantly, what kind of tea?

My favourite at the moment is Regent black tea from Whittards
Only the best at our house

PG Tips is fine. As long as it's made strong, teabag removed long before putting a slight dash of cold milk in.

Mmmmmmmm.....

I've got posh teas for rare occasions too, but PG for a Sunday in bed is ample.

Coffee is for peasants.

Clipper organic earl grey I drink. Really nice.

Two cups of that within the first hour whilst browsing with ipad in bed.

Maybe some Nutella or raspberry jam on toast.
