Kindle Books

Not really sure where this belongs.

I've got 5 Kindle Books that i've loaded onto my Kindle Fire, using Calibre (Free Books - Not pirated mainstream books)

As far as i can tell, Only books i've bought from Amazon will Sync page progress between devices.

Does anyone know if it's possible to add the books to the cloud/library whatever the right name is?

You can email them to the kindle address if they are in mobi format. They will then appear in your library across devices.

This is how I always do it and no problem with them syncing between devices.

Hmm, not sure I'd want to give a random web site both my kindle email address and an email address that's authorised to send to it.

If I have any epubs, I convert with Calibre and then email them myself.

Have used it loads of times without issue but you are right it could be risky.

No, they still show as documents but they do sync between devices in the same way that books do.
