Reports on Twitter of shots fired. Apparently, one attacker and a policeman down at entrance to the commons!
 
Various reports at the minute, the usual confusion of live news.

Reports of man with a knife still on the grounds, another saying 6 people injured on Westminster Bridge. ...it'll become clear over the next few hours
 
Doesn't look so good, the air ambulance was landing nearby, the normal confusing reports... no doubt people making it up before they have the facts, I hope there aren't any fatalities though
 
Sky news reporting that a bunch of people were run over by a car on Westminster bridge, no idea if it's legit or not... but it sounds bad,.. very bad,
 
Reports of 6 people being mowed down by a car on Westminster bridge, the car then crashing though entrance gates and someone attacking a policeman outside Parliament.

Commons Leader David Lidington has told MPs a "police officer has been stabbed" and the "alleged assailant was shot by armed police" following a "serious" incident within the parliamentary estate.
 
From looking on twitter I have come to the following:

Car mows down a few people, 1 assailant gets out and attack people with knife, gets shot by police.

I hope any victims are okay and make a full recovery. Such a horrible thing.
 
seems the wrong place to plan an attack mind..its likely the highest concetration of armed officers

I am going to say gang related! or just some crazy nutter
