Ok both have 3 years warranty.
Both are from the same make : gigabyte.
The cheaper version is a higher OC model

one is in stock and one is preorder....

Please explain why one is £50 more in price
are OCUK milking these or what ??? i cant for the life of me see why one is £50 more in price....

The cheaper one is Gigabytes own reference design. It could be cheaper and offer inferior cooling to the FE card. Not sure tbh on the cooling capability. Thats all i can tell difference wise. Also i don't think it has a DVI port like that picture suggests lol. If that warrants a £50 increase i doubt it.

Without being 100%, haven't seen the PCB yet. Its exactly the same was the 1080 version.

The 1080 Turbo was a G1 PCB with blower cooling solution.

Should be the same around this time. FE is reference design, Turbo is based on non reference design but with blower fan

I'm sure the 1080Ti Gigabyte OC model is a reference design. It's just their own version of the reference cooler.

it's just greedy of ocuk "because it's in stock tax" is the reason the price is £750 I got my EVGA 1080 Ti which will have a better resale value and easier to sell in the future for £719.... £750? I'd go elsewhere

Well i have always stuck with OCUK cause of there great customer service and returns but if there going to start with money milking people then you guys are right i might as well go else where for my custom....

I've had mixed results with CS, Sometimes very rude and put the phone down on you and other times they're great. I've just stuck with them as they are on my doorstep to be honest.

one is pre order one isn't :) Gibbo has already said this.

IF that is indeed correct and why £50 was chucked on top then its poor buisness considering there a quite a few 1080TI`s in stock at various other retailers that dont chuck £50 on top of there prices cause they have stock ect ect.....
its blatant price gouging imho... and people at OCUK should be ashamed of what there doing..

I use to go right to OCUK website and see something and buy it right away, knowing it would be same or under the value of other retailers but not anymore, and they keep banging on about having better deals than other venders on the forums to get more custom yet if you look around at places you will see most of the stuff is either the same or higher valued... but anyway... i see the truth now lol

Not same PCB :)
Using their own Bill Of Materials is far cheaper then buying PCB of recreating it to NV specs. How they can sell it cheaper.
1080 was £550 when all other 1080s were £650+. should have seen distribution prices £420 not including VAT. System builders dream. Although supplied were very short :(

Cooler was vastly better then 1080/Titan , used one myself, although just as loud !

Like I said I got an evga for 719 and as you know will hold more value just for it being an evga product. Id like someone from ocuk to explain and give a good reason for the £51 hike?

No im sure it was reference because that card sold on release day. It would be the only non reference PCB if it was? I'm sure its just the cooler.
Also it's not cheaper. There is other FE cards selling around this price. It's just the gigabyte FE has a significant price difference to others.

i believe the EVGA thing is due to ocuk doing the warrenty, cannot confirm though!

I wouldn't worry about it or buy a card that is £50 more because it's in stock when the cards starting price is £200 more than the last card based on the same manufacturing process.

I don't blame ocuk for that as consumers are lapping them up.

I look at all the 1080 prices and think 'nope too much for a card'.

sold on release day but wont be out until 3rd party cards also come out. Card is a bigger seller outside EU.

Gigabyte have also stated their unofficial support for Water cooling FE cards, unlike all the others which don't bar EVGA which has full support ( both evga and gigabyte =- don't break the card/cooler when doing it)
