What do you guys think about upgrading from an Sapphire Tri-X R9 290 to a 1080? I have the chance to purchase a brand new MSI Gaming X 1080 for £430.

Could sell my 290 after and upgrade for around £310-330.

What do you guys think?

Might be worth holding off for the re-launched 1080s with faster memory and cheaper prices that are due in the next couple of weeks.

1080 would be a quieter cooler running card whilst also being so much faster. Definitely go for 1080!
