Any reason why I wouldn't use +50%?

Performance is much better (10600 -> 11800 on Fire Strike) even at stock clocks. I'm guessing it can boost for longer with higher limits.

I don't understand why AMD/Asus have crippled the card so much?

I don't have the graphics score improvement to hand, but it will have been even more stark.

More fps.

We are talking a good 10% bump up.

You can achieve similar gains by undervolting.

they want to make them seem lower power. tbh mine use over 200w on just the core at full power at 1.3v. as long as the cooler isnt rubbish then they are just hindering their own performance, tbh the people who run rx480's at stock might as well have got an rx470
