The forum have probably breached data protection laws and I think the gym overstepped the mark by outing your cousin rather than just confirming to Mr Roidrage that the troll wasn't John. I suggest your cousin either face the consequences or find another gym roid users are generally nuts.

I cant help but feel that the lack of details suggests that it was not resolved via the recommended apology but rather a cowardly threat to the forum to take down the posts so as to minimise any repercussions and no apology made to avoid contact.

Both parties were apologised to. Apologies accepted. Reached out to forum to take down posts to end it all, Cousin awaiting response.
Amicable and a good suffice ending. There are still decent people out there. No need for blood, even though most wanted it on here. Embarrassing posters are rife.

I think you will find most wanted a lesson learned and an apology given rather than blood and most importantly, readers wanted an ending to the story.

Now we have it. There is little point in not giving the details of the ending after all this, unless the point of this thread was actually to seek legal advice from GD... which i would argue is more embarrassing
