Does anyone own one of these who would like to share a review?

I test drove one today and it does tick the boxes I want from an SUV on a budget.

I'm still skeptical at the moment however boot size, MPG, big enough for 3 kids are on the priority list.

I love the look of them personally, unfortunately I doubt I can stretch for the Premium / SE model that has the 19" wheels and a lot more goodies inside. The SE + Nav is on the shortlist, I found it a massive improvement on the Pug 2008/Sportage I test drove on Thursday in most departments.

Had the previous IX35 SE Nav 1.7CRDI in 2014. I found it did the job and came with a decent amount of gadgets for the money. The Tuscan is improved in most ways I imagine so would be fine for a budget SUV.

Have you looked at the 3008SUV rather than the 2008?

car salesmen must hate when a customer pronounces a model name totally incorrectly. Shows how much actual research a customer did into the car before buying.

Yeah, I loved the GT Line, I still think in the rear seats space was limited and again couldn't compare boot size to the Hyundai. I think if I opted for the Active/Allure I would always be disappointed.

Having recently driven an i10 and a US spec Elantra, it seems that Hyundai makes a good car. Shame you can't get a decent engine in the cheaper models.

The days of the Pony and Accent are long gone!

I think the 19" alloys really transform the look (bottom pic). Definitely leaning towards the SE+Nav option.
