False flag means you're trying to stir up trouble for someone else, not advance your own aims (other than your aims are damaging someone else secretly)

Seems like that's a reasonable possibility, for one this is a bit lame for your average islamist, it's an odd target etc etc but to be fair if they wanted islamists blaming all they needed to do was wait.. the press will do it for them
