Online Estate Agents

We will be looking to sell our house soon. We sold our last one with PurpleBricks and all went ok. Their fixed price has gone up £100 in 6 months to nearly £850.

Who would you lot recommend these days? Ta

I was just looking and 'Settled' have some good reviews and price!

I've never sold through purple bricks but as buyer who viewed a property being sold by them I was quite impressed with the fact you can easily do everything online. (I suppose that's the point, but what I mean is put in an offer, add conditions to it, ask the owner a question etc) so much easier than having to ring the agent and wait for them to call the owner to find out.

I wonder whether the high street agents will ever start to adopt this approach? A question to ask them Koolpc is do the other online agents offer such a facility?

House Network is another I am personally looking at using. Not sure how good they are though.

I just sold my parents house through Settled.co.uk - very cheap, quick and easy to use. Sold in 2 weeks too.

Just sold our property via tepilo. Have to do your own viewings but exchanged yesterday think it cost £400 which is better than most.

Yet this has absolutely nothing to do with which agent you pick seeing as they all put the house on rightmove/zoopla which is all people use to house hunt anyway

I used them when I sold my place. They were faultless, far better than when I've used high street agents. You can also use their solicitors, everything is done online so it's really convenient.
I've probably got a referral code if you want to use them.

I dunno, theres a huge variation in the quality of postings on RightMove etc, and at least if you're (I assume) doing all the wording & photos yourself you can avoid the estate agent compulsory Vaseline smeared photos and spelling mistake riddled pretentious marketing malecowpoo which puts buyers off!

When I used House Network I wrote all of my own advert and took my own pictures. The photographer came out and took pictures too and between us we agreed which showed the house in the best light (which worked because I had 11 viewings in less than a week with 3 of the offers well over the asking price)

I know. I didnt say it was due to the agent. I was just saying thats how long it took.
