Mods that annoy you

I'll admit I did participate in this thread which to be fair does highlight "annoy".. the one I posted just baffles me, I don't care what anyone does with their car.. each to their own and all that

there's the "annoyes me" aka I think it looks/is stupid and then there's the complete senseless bashing and sometimes even death wishing because someone modified THEIR car in the way they want lol. - not talking about this thread in particular but I'm very much up to-date with modified car scene and it's just crazy how some of the people behave.

Personally I find most mods fascinating, slammed cars, mad camber, bags, rat/dub style the whole thing.. rather that than mondeo after 3 series after polo..

I'd love to have a fire breathing focus RS slammed with a massive spoiler but it's not practical for me, I'm glad someone has though!

The post I made was merely "why on earth did you do that?" :)

Well no but many don't need a practical car at all.. I'm saying I have a 140 mile round trip to the office so I'm stuck in diesel land for the foreseeable!

I just like anything visually stimulating lol.. and yes, that includes the new Civic Type R ESPECIALLY if it's been lowered and has black wheels!

true, i wish i didn't need 4 seats and a decent boot, really want a roadster :(

i also wish you could modify cars without having to go all cap in hand to the random number generators insurance companies and beg for financial mercy.

I find that not driving a car which requires a tow hook "just in case" to be a much more pleasant solution.

Cars have tow-hooks anyway, they just aren't in all the time.

Anyway, how do you know who does or doesn't go to track days? :p

(I've never had or wanted to install a blingy tow hook or tow strap btw)

99% of the time you can spot the difference between a real track day fan and a wannabe.

Can't say that anyone elses mod has ever annoyed me.

At a push then maybe some of the dodgily bright bulbs i see sometimes count as a mod ?

If people are happy modding and driving what I think is rubbish then good on them . Enjoy

To be fair you can get 'msport/amg' package on diesels direct from the manufacturer now. I do agree it's stupid though.
I disagree. People like sporty looks but can't afford the proper versions for whatever reason so get the kit instead. They look almost like the real deal, but those that know, know.
