Galax announce SINGLE SLOT GTX1070

Absolute beaut, shame about the brand.

I can't imagine it's suited to overclocking in the slightest...

Takes me back to the days of the glorious 8800GT, I think single slot cards look awesome.

Only reason I might buy one at all is that I still use a PCI Creative X-Fi and most boards don't have the greatest layout if you actually want to use the PCI and a number of PCI-e slots - that said I've no intentions of going 1070 SLI so I won't be buying one.

This would be great for the mini-itx form factor.

This is a good option for those who only have one slot available. But my guess would be this would run under 1800MHz or end up sounding awful. Probably end up being very close to stock. But still a good option if you need it. A lot of performance for a single slot card.

Its got a factory overclock of 8mhz. Wow. Although if it will boost to 1708mhz on that cooler not too bad. Doesnt say temps tho !
