Just wanted to let any other purchasers know that the included AM4 bracket that you can select as part of the order isn't designed for this cooler, and looking at the instructions is only designed for an air cooler. There is no way to affix the AM4 bracket to the cooler so it looks like this will be my 6th AMD build using zip-ties to hold the cooler down :/

Hi,

Leave this with me and I will see what I can find out. It was on the compatibility list.

I will call tomorrow to see if you guys have a compatible kit. Just to update you there are no parts for either the cpu cooler or the AM4 kit missing, every part is accounted for. The parts depicted on the AM4 kit's picture show the parts I received (meaning the error is NOT a shipping mixup but the kit listed is not compatible with the cooler). The instructions for the AM4 kit show how to affix the kit to an air cooler, and there is no way to attach the AM4 kit to the liquid cooler.

The issue is that there is nowhere to screw the retention brackets to the cooler, I tried seeing if the included 'AMD' kit that comes with the cooler would allow include some way to attach the AM4 kit however this proved fruitless. I hope you guys have or can get an AM4 bracket for the liquid cooler as I've already installed the cooler into the case, it was a pain (and took ages) and I'd rather not have to send the whole lot back.

Hi,

If that bracket does not fit then we have no alternative at the moment however you can contact bequiet directly and they will send you one out for the cooler.

I have also asked for a bracket for you so as I wait for a reply hopefully today it maybe worth getting the ball rolling with them as well.

Please can you send me you order number in trust so I can keep an eye on it.

Thank you. Bequiet are waiting a response from Head office so we should have a reply shortly then I will contact you directly. Apologies for the inconvenience caused.

Same bracket as Alphacool Eisbaer. Although fitting instructions are wrong, there's not enough tension in mount so nut has to go above the CPU bracket rather then underneath .
Correct mount should look like the AM3 but have diagonal slits instead of for static holes

Hi, The bracket has been shipped out to you today.

Well this is very strange, I just got a package from BeQuiet... which includes 1 SilentWings 3 140mm PWM fan and 10 small packets of gummy bears but no AM4 bracket, the letter on the front lists only these items and there is no AM4 bracket packaged in the box that the extra fan came in :/.

I've spoken to a friend who's also been trying to get an AM4 bracket for the same cooler and has also not been able to get the correct bracket (BeQuiet sent him an AM4 bracket but it was the wrong one). He's given up and modded his cooler to fit (using his welding gun) as he was waiting over a month.

Hi,

I have messaged them again this morning to get this sorted out. The Fan and the gummy bears were basically them apologising for the bracket been wrong and it looks like this time they did not even send it. I will sort this out for you and get back to you again.

I apologise for this mistake.

I recieved the bracket seperately today, I'm glad BeQuiet sent me the 140mm fan actually as I was going to go buy one in a few weeks, now I don't need to.

@Chaoss @Robbie_G

im not sure if BeQuiet updated the manual but from Alphacool the mounting doesn't put enough pressure on the block to make contact with the CPU. its advised that the Nut goes on top of the Bracket and not underneath like it does for Intel sockets!!!

will try and find the images again Alpha sent me, even though its the Eisbaer unit, the bases and plates/ mounting are the same

Nice one for the information is good to know for any customer that contacts us with the issue.

no worries, havent got to trying with the Silent Loop system but 90% confident it will give a better pressure for contact. worked with its less silent sibling

im hopiong Bequiet made there own instructions but no idea

The bracket actually fits for me and I seem to be one of the first to get a working AM4 bracket for the BeQuiet liquid coolers. Now I just need to get the CPU lol. Again thanks for your help Robbie
