Generation *********...

Man I despise the term *********.
In its purest form isn't this just an oblique reference to elements of our new society which is heavily subscribed too and open about being wrapped in kid gloves. An observation rather than a criticism btw. We all do need to think and feel more!

As for the clapping thing, unless you have experience of what does/does not set off someone on the upper end of a mental health spectrum, then respectfully you have no place to criticise.

If you can't handle clapping, then you shouldn't attend an event where loud noises will take place. The whole world shouldn't have to change for a few people. Where does it end?

Man I despise the term *********. It's the latest hipster term for thinly veiling an insult just because you don't agree with an opinion.

It does begin with an 'o', but it's not opinion. It's offence.

Remember, offence is taken, not given.

********** take offence too far. It divides and antagonises people, like what the extreme end of religion does.

I remember seeing this nonsense at the occupy protests outside St Paul's. Went along for one of their nightly meetings out of interest and they had a voting system using hand waving... was quite odd.

Which generation ********* are we talking about here? The late teens and 20 somethings, the 40 somethings or the OAP's?

I get confused, with so many people being offended about everything nowadays. :(

I'm offended that you didn't include 30 somethings in that list, stop denying my right to be a *********!

Is it the generation that couldn't handle women in their golf house?

Actually, clapping releases oxytocin, so chemically it has the exact opposite effect to causing anxiety. This is a medically proven fact which is kinda hard to argue against. They are being moronic.

(I accept the fact the noise of the clapping will be difficult for some on the autistic spectrum to cope with but that doesn't appear to be what they mean - I interpret this as the action of clapping causing it? In which case refer to above.).

it seems fairly apt for people being remarkably sensitive such as these students avoiding clapping - it doesn't exactly fit your narrative though for example plenty of people oppose ISIS and would disagree with their opinions but I really don't think the term '*********' is very fitting for hardened jihadis

As a Daily Mail reader I am permanently offended and outraged by **********, foreigners, people on benefits, the young, the EU and political correctness gone mad*

*Please note this list is not exhaustive.

Worth a read.
