Graphics for Samsung 40KU6400

I'm thinking of buying a Samsung 40KU6400 (as per this thread) but my old GTX 650 probably won't cut it anymore so I'm looking for upgrade advice.

I don't play any games at all, I just use my PC for web browsing, office stuff, YouTube, movies, etc

Silence or as close to it as possible would be good so I was considering the Palit NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB KALMX Passive. Would this do the job or should I just get a non-passive version as the fan is unlikely to get used anyway? Or is there something for similar money that would be better suited?

The 460 is a very quite card, my friend has one in his HTPC, it's even quite when he plays the odd game.
