Don't you have to claim the speaker after you receive your phone, and get the speaker weeks later?
You claim it within 30 days on CPW website apparently after purchase and as you can return within 14days I dont think they will be sending them anytime soon.

Is this on EE I assume? You activate it via the My EE pages online, or I think within the app. I seem to recall the free BT Sports doesn't allow playback via cast or from a desktop computer though.
I've got to admit the GPS makes a massive difference. I've currently got:
Off charge: 18hrs 37Mins
Screen Time: 4hrs 15Mins (21%)
44% Left 13hrs 47Mins
I don't use location for anything so I don't wish for it to be turned on, but those stats are awesome.
What sort of deals have people got?
Ive come from three unltd calls data at 40/month to unltd calls texts + 12gb data for 50 a month. Just leaves a bitter taste in my mouth paying that much for something monthly and actually getting less data than before. Would much rather pay £300 up front and have lower monthly.
Dont like the way they have split their plans into advanced and essential now, thus removing feel at home and tethering. Would they likely force me onto a new plan at the end of the contract in a few months anyway?

Ordered the speaker the day i had the phone (20th April) as you needed to upload proof of purchase, they say to allow 30 days once submitted, will post back as soon as mine arrives or they email to say its in transit, suspect it will be a while, im in no rush for it.
Damn I have a Samsung 55" at home was hoping to cast to that... I'll check out the ee pages for info..... 61 now... nearly here

Do non carrier phones get updates quicker than carrier ones? Say sim free vs EE ? Of the unlock code doesn't change the firmware then I might keep the CPW one instead of there is a massive difference. Never bought one outside of network so no idea.

I asked ChitterChatter that very question yesterday via WebChat. I was advised "They will be fully unlocked, EE have allowed us to do this due to the issue we are having with our standard sim free supplier, so EE have agreed to allow is to provide the unlocking codes to these phones and once this has been entered they will be as per a factory unlocked handset. The question was put to our EE account manager and he has assured us this will not be a issue with the S8 once this unlocking code is entered, it will be no different to a standard factory unlocked handset"
Well, it's a clever word play, while I'm sure it will be no different in terms of unlocked as in "accepting all sims", I would not be so certain about the firmware - surely just the unlock code is not going to change the firmware version? All its going to do is let you use any sim.
Can someone with EE handset, Voda handset and say sim free handset confirm their firmware codes and when they got the inital update?

Just had an update to fix the red tinge on the screen, you can adjust the edge of the screen for the redness, which has made no difference to mine. I bought online at cpw, if I take it to the store will they replace it? Or take to my local Samsung store?
