Disgusting level of "PRANKS" towards children

I didn't watch it, only saw the photos, but yes, sounds like child abuse to me.

The kids should be taken away and the parents educated.

They live in Maryland, which takes a 'generous' attitude towards corporal punishment, so believe it or not, they're unlikely to lose the kids.

I watched something about this a couple of days ago and whilst its clearly abuse not sure if i want to jump on the bandwagan of having the children removed.

It looks to be a case of **** just got out of hand and they have sleep walked into going too far after getting a bit of success chasing them views and likes.

Perhaps the backlash alone is enough for them to realise what they were doing was wrong and avoiding this genre with their kids altogether might rectify the situation as they might actually care for their children. Although their reply video appears like they haven't got the message.

Child abuse while filming it proves they are not fit to be parents. They should have the kids removed and face charges.

I'm sorry but the idea of 'carried away with chasing likes' just isn't anywhere near a good enough reason to argue against removing the children from their care.

You are probably right, just fear taking them away could do them more harm from what could be outside of youtube caring parents. It doesn't look good though.

I get what you are saying in that the kids could face a worse scenario in the care system. but these pair don't even realise what they did was wrong - they are blaming the backlash on the guy that 'outed' them not on their actual behaviour. I mean even trying to say that a lot of it was fake?! wtf is wrong with these pair - do they think people are as ******* retarded as they are? you can't fake the older brother slamming the younger one into the floor - it isn't the WWE!
but this being America there's the risk one or all of the kids are going to go on a gun toting bender in the not too distant future if something isn't done!

too soon?

seriously though that was a pretty poor prank, the kid looked like he was about to get a beating.

that is probably a good outcome - eliminates some of the stupider stuff where he's getting a much older kid to bully the younger one (presumably he's just lost custody of the older ones), also serves as a big wakeup call for them re: the other kids - probably better that the parents change their ways and still keep the other kids rather than have them taken away and placed into care in the US.

Given over to their biological mother who was where exactly while all this was going on?

She's been trying to get them back for ages. She made two unsuccessful attempts last year, both rejected. The courts said the kids were merely subjected to 'corporal punishment', not abuse.

Now that the truth has become too big to hide, she's got her kids back again.
