Dampened or air flow

Can anyone tell me which of these is likely to be quieter?

The bequiet is dampened but the Corsair makes a big deal of air flow.
The better air flow would in theory allow lower fan RPM, but would that offset the lack of dampening?

More air flow more spaces for are to pass through means more holes for sound to escape. Temper glass will not block any sound, better to stick to normal side panel with noise dampening material on it. Case fans: will you stick to original ones or buy new ones. Out of this two "Be Quiet" is a better option.

Thanks, that is what I thought, but had a moment of doubt. I intend to swap out the case fans, replacing them with silent wings 3 fans.

*cough*Noctua*cough* I have 7 of them still quiet, Ugly as me but build to last.

I use a fractal design case with noctua fans, got to be within a few feet of the pc to hear it.

I have the 400Q which has no window and a small amount of damping material.

The fan choice is going to be key if you go for the Corsair. The fan controller has 3 speeds so you can get a lot of air flow when necessary. I can still get a small amount of positive pressure at the lowest speed with 3x120mm Arctic F12 intake fans.
