Hi guys,

For my birthday this year I got a tank experience day, including diving a Tank, APC and a couple of other military vehicles, which I am looking forward to, especially driving a Chieftain!

So who else has done it? Have any tips? I will try and stay away from any carparks... :p

Can you take it for a nice leisurely cruise through Amber Rudd's living room in it, for us please? :D

Where are you going for this experience? Tank Museum?

Don't bother, my coworkers granddad tried one of those tank days in the 40's and says they're terrible. The tank developed holes in the bodywork, the engine caught fire, and his friend lost a leg!

pro tip: be careful not to roll it. if playing pc games has taught me anything it's that rolling a tank is notoriously easy to do!

Awesome mate. My dad used to drive Cheiftains while in the army back in the late 70s. I believe it was the MKII variants.

Like other posters have said... pictures and video!

Now that sounds like a lot of fun!!

Pull a Pierce Brosnan from Goldeneye, ill bet that doesn't come with the entrance fee

Enjoy.
