Its the pound that is "tanking" according to the Express because of Theresa May

I've been watching MetaTrader and the Euro has been falling since this morning. Plus normal news articles are reporting French election jitters.

Macron is pulling an even bigger lead in the poll, up to 62% now. Polls typically have a 3% error at 95% confidence interval.
 
Anyone else notice that Macron keeps saying "I don't have an account in the Bahamas"? I thought they allegation was that he had one in the Caymans ...

**** article and who knows what time it was posted. Euro vs dollar and pound has steadily risen all day today. Okay it goes up and down and perhaps when that article was written it had initially dipped and that was what was expected to happen all day but it didnt.

Well that was the allegation Le Pen repeat that he had one on the Bahamas but I see you are too busy reading 4chan who say he has one in the Caymans and given enough time will supply proof...........

Did you know that you Scorza, have a bank account in the Caymans? Given enough time I will supply proof but for now, with a day to go to the election you will have to take my word for it.

It smacks of a last ditch desperate attempt to try and swing the election. Lets just keep going from country to country every day saying he has an account there until you get lucky.

Stick to metatrader. That gives you the real numbers for currencies. At the moment the Euro has fallen against the pound and risen slightly against the dollar. It was down against the dollar also earlier. The pound is up against the dollar.

But the Daily Express wrote a whole peice only 5 hours ago saying the pound was tanking and it was all Theresa May's fault :D
 
Pound is almost up at 1.30 now. Euro has really sunk, it's just under 1.10

I guess the price of graphics cards will be going down? Right OC ;)

Where are you getting 'Caymans' from? 4chan, perhaps?

Earlier this week, an anonymous 4chan user published two documents to the /po/ board that alleged that French presidential candidate Emmanuel Macron had an offshore bank account based out of the island of Nevis in the Caribbean. Island officials deny any such shell company existing in their records, according to the Wall Street Journal.

Despite being debunked as fake, the documents spread in right-wing circles and even made their way to Macron’s election opponent, Marine Le Pen, who alluded to the bank account in Wednesday night’s debate.

The documents were also published on the Russian-owned news site RT and on Sputnik.

Police with France’s Ministry of the Interior are now attempting to track down the 4chan user who originally published the documents. On Thursday, a French police officer reached out to the owner of the site on which the document files were hosted, mixtape.moe, over email and asked for data logs and information that could lead to the offender.

Explained in the article:

In the email to mixtape.moe’s owner Drybones, French police officer Claire Allegre said she was in charge of a case based out of a high court in Paris for “forgery, use of a forged document and diffusion of fake news which can disturb an election.”

...The police investigation is a small part of a larger probe by French prosecutors into the dissemination of fake news that targets Macron.
