Has anyone been able to control fan speed via the PWM header on this board? For the life of me I can't get ANY control over it whatsoever. I've tried Speedfan but that doesn't even seem to recognise a single fan I have connected to the board. The BIOS doesn't do anything either. I have x3 fans on a rad connected to the PWM (white) header (on a splitter), and I would like to set a speed range.

Either try,

Install the app center and SIV (system information viewer)

Or put the latest BIOS on it which changes everything and adds the latest fan speed control.

Do you not get any fan speed display or % adjustment boxes in speedfan?
They look like this http://imgur.com/bHmicQW

Nope, I get none. It seems like it might be because I have fans connected to the hub in my Evolv case, and others on a splitter. I read that on this board Speedfan doesn't like it unless the fans are connected directly to the motherboard.

SIV crashes when I try to run Smart Fan Auto... it says "Object reference not set to an instance of an object", whatever the hell that means?! This is followed by a box saying ThermalConsole has stopped working. I have the F8 Bios... I think there is a later one but I did read several people having issues with it.
