Was 150 yds from OCUK - now 0.5 mile; they moved
Yesterday was out in the sun for around 4 hours. I'm folically challeneged haha.

Got home last night and my head was bright red from the sun.

Woke up this morning and my head is discharging fluid, and I had a lot of yellow dried "crust" on my head.
I washed away the crust but my head is still weeping fluid. I did have a bad headache this morning also, but that seems to be going now.

I bought some coconut oil, lets hope this helps!

I'm also off to Cyprus next month too, I have invested in a cap or two for my holiday now.

This was last night

Doesn't look that bad from the photo, but discharge sounds fairly grim
Thats what I thought last night. I could show you how it is today, but I think I will spare you all from that, people maybe still eating their breakfast.

my wife did laugh this morning saying "this is your inner secret ginger in you coming out"
(I was not ginger when I were still able to grow a head bush)

I had the same a couple years ago. I was out doing the Snowdon Horseshoe and it was a freak good weather day despite the forecast. I hadn't taken any sun cream or hat and having a shaved head didn't help. When I got back my head was glowing like a beacon and had started weeping and I was due to go to a comedy night that night too. I swerved the comedy night as I was sat near the front and figured I'd be a constant target!

I've bought some coconut cream. This has no alcohol in it, most normal aftersun cream does and as my skin is cracked and is effectively an open wound - I don't want to put any alcohol based creams on it.

aloe vera is supposed to be good for burns. i would also shower head in cold water, etc but most of the damage has already been done you should have done that last night.

when you get home try slapping some natural yogurt on your head it will keep it cold.

We can laugh but skin cancer ain't funny. It amazes me the amount of people walking around like boiled lobsters after a bit of sun...
Take more care in future OP.
