Yes I wish there were harsh penalty's for people who lie too. If you'd had tried claiming on your own insurance with a lie and got caught out you'd get done for it so why doesn't it happen when someone does something like this?!

I never got it either. I had a crash 12 years ago where the other party changed their story to something that was clearly contradicted by their previous story and the evidence to shift blame from them to me. My solicitors saw through it but surely it's attempted fraud?
 
my father in laws samee colour scoobie which was immaculate got done similar but it was a arctic in the back ended up with the car being writ off :( glad you okay.
