Looking for a 2 bay reservoir

Hi guys,

I'm in the process of upgrading my watercooled PC, gone for a Ryzen 1700 and Asus Crosshair VI. My current set up includes a single bay XSPC reservoir that's connected to a D5 pump at the bottom of my Corsair 800D case. I'm binning my old Soundblaster card which has a single front bay add on that no longer works. I think I've lost my spare drive bay cover plates, so rather than order a new one I thought take a look at replacing my single bay reservoir with a two bay one.

I've had a quick look and like the look of these two:

https://www.overclockers.co.uk/monsoon-mmrs-two-tube-reservoir-premium-matte-black-wc-391-mo.html

I'm not sure of the major differences, other than £45. If I went with one of these, would I need to move my pump and mount it directly, or does it not matter?

Any other reservoirs worth looking at?

Cheers,

Jed

Those 2 have mounts for the pump so yes, ideally you would want to attach the D5 to those directly, although you can use them as standard reservoirs I guess. As for the price difference between them I guess iot's mainly due to the bling on the "white" one. LEDs etc.

XSPC has a dual bay res with pump mount too and EK has one as well, not certain if that has pump mount.

Bought the flow res. Just installing but a bit confused as to which tube goes where. Should the Out of the reservoir go to the In of the pump? My setup is:

Top - radiator
Middle right - reservoir
Bottom - pump
Middle left - cpu block

From red to pump the out to loop yes... flows round then back in to the res. The job of the red is just to ensure constant fluid fed to the pump impeller.

Outside of the red feeding the pump loop order doesn't matter just whatever is easiest or has the least bends (resistance).
