Trump Fires FBI Director

The news is blowing up over here. All sorts of talking heads talking about everything.

It is now being compared to Nixon by major news outlets.

The timing is highly unusual and this is (or was) the guy leading the investigation into Trump Campaign collusion with Russia. Really a serious misstep by Trump.

Starting to get even more crazy. So it was starting to leak that the Russian connection investigation was intensifying just hours before Trump fires Comey.

But on the other hand JBod, Trump may have nothing to do with Russia and therefore see this as a Democratic/Clinton attempt to consistantly undermine him. So could work either way.

Innocent or guilty, firing the person who's investigating him is highly unethical.

There will be no repercussions while Republicans continue to stick their heads in the sands though.

That James Comey is possibly the most incompetent FBI Director the US has ever had. The whole handling of investigations of both Clinton and Trump have been a disaster. Those comments last week calling Russia the greatest threat of any nation on Earth was hilarious. Has he looked at US foreign policy over the last 50 years?

It's not really liberalism it's extreme leftism hiding behind a word associated with greater freedom, if they were true liberals they wouldn't be pushing political correctness as a control mechanism and trying to suppress other points of view (ie. conservativism) by smashing up universities to stop speeches, namecalling critics as racist, sexist etc. They think that if they give more freedoms/power to minorities (feminists, transgenders etc) it's enough to call them liberal and masks their oppression of majorities.

Most true liberals voted for Trump.
