EVGA AIO kit for 1080FE and 1080Ti FE

Yup and love it,

Dropped my temps on my 1080FE's in SLI nicely, top card sits at 45c when gaming and the lower card sits at 40c. When idle both are just above ambient so around 23c.
 
I've got one on my 1080ti, it's the one off my Titan X (Maxwell). The shroud doesn't fit but so what :)

Temps are great & the noise...

Just installed one today. Max temps seen has been 45° @ 2050 core. Can't hear the thing either.

What RPM does the pump run at? Does it run the same speed at idle as at full load? All the AIO's I've heard have had a audible 'hum' - which I find extremely annoying.

I far prefer the 0DB function of custom air cooled cards, much nicer when doing work, watching video etc. Then when I'm gaming, I have headphones, so don't get disturbed by the noise.

I can't hear any hum, well not above my case fans at any rate. As to the speed, no idea how to measure that I'm afraid.
 
The benefits of these are great. Temps are greatly reduced. I modded the EVGA 980ti AIO to fit a GTX 1080. However they are expensive for what you get its just a AIO with a special bracket plate/cowl.
In theory you could get a cheap AIO, tie wrap it to the GPU and add heatsinks to VRM/RAM. Thats how these AIO GPU coolers originally started.
As for the hum its all relative. Yes if you have your PC on your desk at ear height you might get a hum but if its down below under the desk you tend not to hear it just the rumble of fans.
 
I have my one waiting at home, can i ask the guys have that put this 'ti' version together the order you disassembled the card. Is it backplate then shroud? The instructions are atrocious and there isnt even a mention of the Ti version. Quite lazy considering what we're paying.
 
Yes, agreed its expensive, but a founders edition 1080ti is £650, plus the cooler and it's still cheaper, cooler and quieter than an aftermarket card.

£650 + £150 = £800

Even the Strix 1080Ti is £11 cheaper @ £789

Taking the Strix out of the equation, given it's only £11, the Amp @ £44 cheaper isn't to be sniffed at. But I suppose if you're buying the 1080Ti card then I guess that £44 cash is irrelevant to you anyway.
 
150 quid on top of a 1080ti cost? Wow. Thats a good few quid.

800 to be exact and personally I'd spend the extra 40 quid on EVGA's Superclocked-2 hybrid if an all-in-one is a must.

Of course it's a different matter if you're one of the FE owners who wouldn't wait for the aftermarket models.

As you have to take the whole stock cooling solution off. I started at the back of the card taking the back plates off then the I/O. From there, take the hex screws off then the spring screws. From here, slowly pull the cooler off - ensuring all screws are out. This will mean the stock cooler and cooling plate will come off as one. Fitting is the reverse but use the hex screws provided by the kit.

I found fitting the pump to be a bit of a pain but you will get there and the instructions are just an idea of what you need to do :)
 
Will this fit in the rear 120 mount location on a Corsair 400C case?

I have a 240mm CPU rad on the top and two 140mm fans at the front.

Without knowing for sure, I'm fairly confident it would given it's the same size of rad as a CPU AIO 120mm unit, which is usually mounted at the rear 120mm location.
