I guess this somewhat works both ways though. Wasn't this in response to a question asked, i.e. not a topic chosen to campaign on, and therefore there's a question to be asked about why a question wasn't asked about the economy, education, NHS, tax reform etc etc.

Just trying to provide some context btw - I'm not in favour of repealing the ban on fox hunting.
Was the question one of those pre-vetted ones that local papers might have asked?

Yes. She could have answered it with "what we need is a strong and stable government" like she does when asked about nurses and the NHS. Shrugs.

Suppose "kill all the foxes" makes a refreshing change but ruined my bingo card.

Perhaps some of her inner cruella da vil slipped out?

Vetting is not the same as planting a question though. Granted, if vetting was used for this question it could have been avoided, but it was asked nevertheless.

Yeah but if every actual good question is "vetted" and the parish newsletter still expects an article out of you then you need something that will get answered.

Will the labour manifesto be the tipping point for an above 50% lead got the Tories? It's starting to look that way.

well, thats the result sorted for the tories then.
i can't see labour surviving this - i wouldn't be surprised to see a split and a social democrat party take their place.

Don't underestimate the power of the tuition fees play.

I'm voting Labour solely for that. Cannot stand Corbyn, but May doesn't grasp the concept of boosting wages for lower earners by amending tax brackets.

Cameron and Co. seemed to get that, so I was fine with giving them my vote with a bit of cutting of the fat. May is living in the clouds.

Going on about fox hunting again. What regular person gives a monkeys about that?

She's doing nothing but ******* off the EU negotiators while they hold all the cards.

Leaked Labour manifesto includes re-nationalising railway, buses and Royal Mail. On top of scrapping tuition fees, it starts to paint a picture of who they are trying to tempt with a voting carrot.

Consider me potentially tempted.

Same.I have no problem with any of that.

What about the abject insanity maths, the plan to essentially cut the public sector off from all major companies with the wage multiplier cap?

How well will universities cope with a 20 to 1 wage limit?

This is what has been floating around Twitter:

...which seems to back up most of the 'leaked manifesto'.
