Hi there

I've been given the opportunity to soak up the culture and atmosphere of Ingolstadt in July. From a photography point of view I've already earmarked Kreuztor, the Audi factory and quite a few churches.

However I'm wondering if anyone else has visited this location and could some first hand advice on locations to visit please?

not specifically ingolstadt, but if you can spare some time to travel about the area there's the the bmw factory+deutsches museum in munich are well worth seeing, the tallest church in the world in ulm which they let you climb right up to the top (i chickened out half way up but the view even there is incredible), and there's the usual german castles of king ludwig like Neuschwanstein which have some lovely alpine scenery around.

should be about ~40-50 mins to munich then there's either trains or touristy type bus tours to get around.

Thanks for that - I'm only there for five days but I'm hoping to do some travelling as well :)
