Yeah, I don't mind... my Citizen Eco-drive has been rock-solid for over 5 years, not had to touch it. So I was torn between a Seiko and another Citizen, but this has the numerals dead right IMO (and all of them present!), and the date complication is tiny and unobtrusive, keeping the face very clean. It reminds me of a station clock on an old railway platform![]()
I wouldn't call a 42mm watch massive, it's just the right side for all events. Probably the most popular size of all.
Depends on the size of your wrist?I would say 42-44 is standard these days

I had a 42mm watch and have small wrists. I think my next one will be 38mm.
Back on the PCL bracelet for a bit.

Seems entirely reasonable to meI genuinely think I might need to see someone about my watch problem. Bought the SARB035 before the weekend, nearly bought a Cocktail Time yesterday. Now I've outgrown my 6-watch box I'm looking at what to replace it with. Seriously considering a 20-watch option!
Oh, and a winder. Or a winder with space for more watches underneath. And one with two winders in it.
