Dad and I have booked a trip via British Airways website.

Manchester > Heathrow (BA)
Heathrow > Chicago (Codeshare with AA using AA 787)

Los Angeles > Heathrow (BA)
Heathrow > Manchester (BA)

All flights have seats booked (you get directed to AA website for the codeshare portion) but my query is has anyone used the British Airways app either on android/ios and will we be able to do online check in for all flights, including the mobile based boarding passes?

Or will we need to use the AA app for the sole codeshare flight?

Also the BA website shows that only the android App currently supports downloading multiple boarding passes for connecting/return flights, I assume this is still the case?

You won't be able to get the AA digital boarding passes, you'll have to use the AA app for that, it's annoying. I just got back sunday doing the same thing.

Appreciate the heads up! I was hoping it would be seamless. I'll see about doing both paper and mobile boarding passes just to be safe.

IOS app worked OK for me going LHR to Fort Worth on AA, with a BA ticket a while back. Something changed?

What was the process for that? I can see the codeshare flight (BA1546 / AA-91) on my British Airways app, but no seat information as it's on American Airlines servers, were you simply able to download the boarding passes on the British Airways app for the American Airlines portion?

What I do on iPhone is use both apps and download them digitally. Or, in this case, this time, I got the BA ones digitally but then picked up the AA ones at the desk when I checked in my bag.

Awesome cheers :) least I'll be prepared and not end up scrambling around on the day trying to sort digital boarding tickets :)
