Ok...so...bought a 1080 FTW Hybrid, wonderful temps, 26C idle, 44-46C on load after few hours of stress testing, everything is great in terms of temps, boosts up to 2025....

Now the problem, the bloody pump noise while idle...it is at the same noise level or maybe even louder than my old 780 AT LOAD!!

Before anyone says that it's the fan, it isn't, I'm not using the stock fan and it's connected to a fan controller. Pretty much set all of my 7 fans to max and the pump was still louder than them...

At this point the noise is doing my head in to the point that I want to take it out and just snap it in half...

Is this normal? I mean my h100i is completely silent..but this thing...ugh...

Edit:

Recording of said noise: http://vocaroo.com/i/s0lDQ7ssk48B

Apparently it might be the air bubbles inside and it should/might go away after some time? Is this true?

Check that the heat-sink is installed correct way round so air bubbles escape.
