I currently have 2x msi 980ti`s and am wondering which 1080ti would be my best choice for 4k 60fps.
Quietness and speed are both important and also opinions as if you guys even think if its worth upgrading.
Sli is hit and miss currently with the 980ti`s so i would like opinions as to whether it would be worth getting 2 1080ti`s for the games 1 cannot manage at 4k 60fps.

Thanks in advance

Aorus Extreme 4 year warranty
Zotac AMP extreme 5 years with OCUK
Asus Strix OC 3 years

In that order for myself personally .

Aorus for its engineering, zotac for its warranty and Strix just because its a strix and costs your soul :)

Agree with the above post, even more so with the current pricing of Aorus on Overclockers an Extreme for £700!!! I paid £800 for the non extreme, it's the best price/card current for me right now.

If you are happy with SLI support you've no need to move on but if you want a faster single card the Zotac AMP models seem to be consistently good and the 5 year guarantee helps too.

With some of the problems that were being talked about on other forums about the Gigabyte cards I would have said go for a different make other than Gigabyte but now that issue as been sorted which was down to Gigabyte own overclocking software(in which case just use Afterburner ) and after having a play with what is an impressive cooler on the Aorus and with pricing going as low £659.00 at one point it is one of the best option out there for 1080ti and do not forget all custom card clock the same now +/-25mhz with the way Nvidia have locked down these cards GPU`s

I went from 2 980 Tis to a 1080 Ti and I couldn't be happier as I game at 4k also the extra vram removed the stuttering ROTTR running so smooth compared to 980 Ti sli the evil within dead rising resident evil all so much better GTA V redux mod maxed out 4k pretty much holds 30fps from a single card is impressive I can't wait to see what Volta can do

Very interested in the Aorus Xtreme too. £700 seems like a good price for it but I don't know if it's worth waiting until Vega comes out to see if it drops more in price.

Think a fair few people are waiting this but for 1070 cards .
I have a feeling even if it is cheaper or close to nvidia cash, demand and limited stock will push the price up like they did for 1080 (yes pound did play a little part but when Strix OC was on trade for £600 and retail at close to 900 was hard to stomach )

Trying to think maybe reason why so many good one days sales on the Tis last 2 weeks
