Hi guys I have upgraded my h55 to a h100I v2 and my case I can only mount it at the front so at the minute it's a exhaust with the back and top fans as intakes or should I do it the opposite way round??

Will it make much difference if I have a bit of the case frame in the middle of the fans and rad or should the fans be directly on the rad there maybe a mm or two gap

I'd set it as intake otherwise you're forcing air to be pushed downwards when air has a tendency to rise

Better for you to test both configurations and see what temps are reported

Dose it matter about that small gap between the rad and fans
Are you actually loosing air around the "sides"?
If so your loosing Static pressure and how much air is forced through the rad, if the path of least resistance is around then your not actually pushing any air through the rad!

Ok so that needs sorting would you go for push or pull

Depends on your case design, some cases have recesses for the fans so they sit better against the case edge etc.

For a front rad? If performance made no difference id go pull, then it should be easy to clean the front of radiator if nothing else, otherwise dust/hairs get stuck between fan and rad.

Yea the case dose have a recesse for fans and I have the rad behind it both won't fit in together that's where the small gap comes from and thanks for the advice
