Mazda 3 2013 4th service

Hi guys,

new to the forum but I saw a few similar questions from google on here so thought you might be able to help.

I have a Mazda 3 registered in September 2013 and the service warning has just come up on the on board computer. However I've checked the service schedule which is 48months (It was registered 44months ago) or 50,000miles and I'm only at 22,000.

Any clues??!

Surely it's just to warn you that your service interval is approaching and you should be thinking about getting it serviced. The interval is 48 months OR 50,000 miles so you're only a few months from it being 'required'.

Which model? On my Mazda 3 I can set how many miles i want to do before it tells me I need a service.

It's a Venture, I only bought it in December 16 and it was serviced in October 16, so maybe the old owner had set a particular mileage

As I say, it was serviced in Oct 16 and it now says overdue, so I can't imagine it's anything to do with the interval.

There's a Mazda specialist independant garage on my way home, I might just take it in and see what they say.

Or they may not have reset the service interval counter when it was previously serviced.

Good point, I'll check the service history and see if I can find a correlation before I take it to the garage.
