Banksy print for not voting conservative...........

I am a big Banksy fan but I can't help feeling this artist has self-promoted in a way which is intrusive and devalues the public's right to vote entirely of their own volition.

"An exclusive new Banksy print will be released on the 9th June. This limited edition artwork on archival quality paper is completely free, but is only available to registered voters in the Bristol............. Simply send in a photo of your ballot paper from polling day showing you voted against the Conservative candidate and this complimentary gift will be mailed to you."

Is it a breathtaking conceit? Or is it art?

I am convinced it is an example of this artist's conceit and it sucks donkeys.
 
i thought it was ilegal to give people a gift for voting a specific way.

didnt ben an jerry get in trouble just for trying to give free ice cream to people who showed they voted at all
 
It's about time Banksy got locked up.

Not a fan of his 'art', nor am I a fan of vandals in general.

i think the "no monetary value" claim would be dismissed instantly lol

'Treating' and bribery are both electoral offences. This is really ill advised - it's just inviting an investigation.

release the print for sale to everyone, sell **** loads

Putting flowers in the hands of imaginary Palestinians doesn't change the fact that the Palestinians launch regular terrorist attacks on Israel.

'Oh look, he's actually throwing flowers, how sweet!' Yeah, but the reality is very different. Painting a cutesy picture achieves sod all.
