Is it now time that our police are all armed?

Shooting them after the event is a little bit of a waste of time though. Terrorists are aware of death hence why they strap bombs to themselves. We need prevention not post incident action. Get them off the streets before they do something dont wait for their actions before removing them

How do we do that? Give the police power to remove suspected terrorists and where needed deport them before they do anything like this. Hit them where it hurts send them home send their families home. Make it so its that unattractive to be caught on suspicion of terrorism that its not an option

There are far too many weak lefties in Politics and in the general population to stomach that kind of thing. Instead we just have to cross our fingers every time we go into public and hope we or people we know and care about aren't caught up in any attacks. They'll carry on the foreseeable future and we'll elect people like Jeremy Corbyn. I wish I could up sticks to America, for all it's issues you're at least allowed to protect yourself.

A knife is a lethal weapon; the correct response to that threat is a firearm.

No such training exists. The absolute best anti-knife training says in all instances the first option would be to run and get away from the attacker, knives are highly lethal and it is very easy to kill someone with a knife. All the training is last resort when you cannot run and are back against a wall. The only effective option against a knife attacker is multiple rounds to the chest from a firearm. Trying to deal with it in any other way is just flipping a coin where it could land on heads and someone dies.
 
These people who have been wanting to spread their ideology to every part of this planet for hundreds of years only understand 1 thing, Violence, In this case fire can only be fought with fire, Police officers should be armed at all times and trained to the same standard as the army, Shoot first ask questions later.

Well, no doubt. People love war, they cant stand peace for too long before getting angsty at someone else based on nationality or what they believe. Can only hold off the bloodthirst for so long, i give it 5 years tops before we're back in the dirt.

I see your point that prevention is better than cure, but it's unfair to say they stopped them "post incident". They stopped them "mid incident", thereby cutting the death toll. They couldn't very well leave them to it on the basis that we should have dealt with them before they started something.
 
If you arm the police terrorists will simply attack places with little to no police presence rather than the heart of London, it's impossible for police to be everywhere at once. These Jihadists want to die anyway so it's not like it's going to be a deterrent.

An innocent was shot by police on London bridge btw (thankfully not killed). I don't want us to end up like America where police are trigger happy and just claim the person reached for his pocket everytime they kill someone for petty crime.

What happened to not letting terrorists change our society?

If we want to stop terrorism then stop letting them into the country, it's not rocket science but our authorities and government seem to be crippled by political correctness and a lack of common sense.
