Looking for a GTX 1060 6gb. Not blower style. With backplate. Not the most expensive. What is the current sensible choice?
 
Save and get a 1070! :D however if not I'd say look at the evga 1060, that Asus white cooler is just tacky looking even the 1050 cooler they use is nicer than the white one they did imo
 
I'm at 60hz (Can be 75 if I overclock monitor) game at 2560x1080 and love all the power :)

I think Nvidia overcharge for 1060 especially when compared to rx480/580 issue is finding them atm though
 
Just bought the GeForce GTX 1060 WindForce OC. Sadly I didnt get it from OCUK because I needed (wanted) delivery tomorrow. (Maybe something OCUK can look at? I did call them to check).
So I sold my second hand 480 and got a brand new 1060 with better performance in the games I play and £100 in my pocket lol. Good times.
 
I just got my white 6gb Asus 1060 delivered and fitted, It's a fair price and along with the discount, I got Dawn of War 3 and Rocket league game codes so if you get and sell those you can get £32.50 back as someone just sold the same codes for £25 and £7.50 on the mm meaning you got a 6gb 1060 for £188.50, you can do that or keep the codes and save around £50 quid on the games..

The card is white but the fans are black and the pcb is black, The only thing it can be faulted on is the lack of a backplate but the card itself is of decent quality and build so I'm happy with it. It's a nice card.

Yeah it's a really good deal. But my PC sits below me. So backplate is essential for me

Would have, but gaming on 60hz 1080p so would be wasted. 1060 is the card for me. I'm getting 4k rig later this year or early next. Whenever the next slew of high end cards come out. The £100 I made has gone into the PC fund anyway.
