Honda CRZ Owner Opinions ?? Other options ??

Need Help/IDEAS
I'm looking if there is any Long therm owner of Honda CRZ not for myself but for my mate.

Situation is like this last Thursday my mate on way to work meeting pulled over to pump tyres at 11am to sainsbury's petrol station. While doing it some chaw Mugged my mate..... GTA STYLE :/
Took hes wallet house keys and hes mint VW Scirocco DTS he had for 7 years... matter of seconds he tried to stop the **** and station staff ect but he ran my mate over and ****** off :(
Also maxed 2 bank cards in stores paying on contact within an hour...

Anyway He's on car lookout. Needs to get a car THIS WEEK cause cant get to work. God knows when/if insurance pays up for the car can be weeks months years with the situation. Since coppers are
investigating CCT's from station and stores ect.

So we got an eye for this mint Honda CRZ that he likes and I like them had one of first test drives in UK but to slow for me. Thing is its YEAR ONE and i know how it is with Year one cars they usually have some minor or major flaws that get corrected latter on.

Anyhow before VW he used to have Mint RX8 Prodrive but had to go more economical due to 40 minute drive EACH WAY to new place and well RX8 is gr8 but not as car You will be putting 25k a year on :]

Wrapping this post up. Criteria that are rock solid for hes next car:
max price 6k
Petrol
Above 40mpg
10s to 60 MAX.
Not older than 2010.and max mileage of 55k
And well that cuts options down to. Honda CRZ Seat IBIZA KIA CREED Hyundai I30. Have I missed any other options??
Rear seats/boot enough for shopping. He culd have Lotus Elise but different Price range :(
 
They are quite appealing now at the prices they go for. Dunno what else to add really.

Sounds mental what happen to have a car jacking like that!

In situations like this it's what ever is available at a decent price.

Clock is ticking for him to get to get to work.

Bank said money should be back this week and cards came in Saturday. Still waiting for new sim card. He's ordering new drivers licence today.

Not many CRZ'z around since Honda kinda Missed target with this one. Not really ECO not really Sport. Ehh Should have had some FI on top of hybrid system :D

Thats why Honda not sold many of them. If i remember good they ware around 20k new and for that money You could have gotten something that is actually fast and almost as economical :D Thats why I never gotten One myself even tho it would be PERFECT car for me just needs 100hp more haha
 
Yea the modern Hondas are a bit of a letdown. They have gone from making great performance cars to making various shaped Priuses in disguise :/
