Hi

Looking for a bit of advice (reassurance really).

I stopped at a red light at this junction for the majority of a good 3-5 minutes and there is a traffic camera there.

I was in the left lane for turning left and was looking at the traffic lights, but the wrong ones. I was looking at the set of traffic lights that were ahead.

When they went green (the wrong set) I moved off but quickly realised the traffic lights that applied to me where still red and immediately braked with the car stopping my foot was still on the brake until 10 secs later or less they also turned green and I then moved off.

During that time I didn't notice any single flash or even a second flash. But as you can see there is a distance between the camera and traffic light so a flash might not be noticeable if it did flash.

When I did cross the red light I did cross the white line and immediately stopped once I realised the traffic lights that applied to me were still red by that time my car was over the white line and was stopped/sitting well over the line. Only roughly 10 seconds later did it turn green and I moved off.

This was roughly at 5:50 am in the morning a really poor lapse of judgement.

There were no other cars or people around and I really hope I wasn't flashed. The pic below is of the road.

I can't see a red light camera there, sure it's not just CCTV?

You can usually see marks on the ground where they buried the pressure plates as well.

I believe they always flash and whenever I've seen other people get flashed by them it always catches my attention (even in broad daylight, there's a camera near my house where light jumpers are notorious) so I'm sure you would have seen the flash mate. Don't worry.
