GOP politicians attacked by a gun nut

Will the deranged celebrities and MSM who have called for attacks on Trump supporters now condemn this violence? I'm guessing ... no.

I very much doubt that the politicians who were shot at are in favour of guns for all. That's not the position of the Republican Party and not the position of the NRA, either.
guns for white folks and the mentally ill then?

Hi Scorza

Could you please post video evidence of celebrities calling for attacks on trump supporters? Thanks.

Well Madonna said she wanted to blow up the Whitehouse and I don't think it was because she dislikes the architecture. And a comedian recently filmed a slow clip of herself silently staring at the camera before raising a severed head meant to be Trump. Regardless, there were 12,000 calls on Twitter by people calling for his assassination and I have heard people state that Trump supporters should be beaten up. I don't think you an credibly deny that there is a large number of people who think it's laudable to beat up Trump or his supporters and that has included celebrities. I don't want to sit through Ashley Judd's Nasty Woman speech again just for a reply in GD, but that was pretty aggressive as I recall as well. The language of violence is being normalised in public discourse. As Scorza was getting at.

They haven't strictly called for attacks on Trump but the insinuations are clearly there for the mentally deranged to latch onto.

For example, there was a British teenager with Aspergers Syndrome who went all the way to the USA and tried to assassinate Trump during the election campaign because of all the social media scaremongering about him being the next Adolf Hitler.

Why would you even pretend to assassinate the sitting president with no real context apart from disliking him and having a desire for it to happen?

It's not just celebrities but the fake news media, before the inauguaration they were running documentaries about what would happen if Trump was assassinated before the inauguaration day and painting it as something positive.

So yes, there are some celebrities who have said what they would like to do to Trump and Ill take your word for it about 12,000 tweets from members of the public. None of them seems to be against Trump supporters though.

Still waiting for evidence that the likes of CNN and the Washington Post have called for attacks on Trump supporters? Otherwise Scorza is just spouting **** again.

To be fair believing knives shouldn't be outlawed doesn't mean you should be attacked by one. I don't know why people outside of the US keep going on about American gun laws, even the Democrats in America don't want to outlaw people owning guns (they may want some more restrictions), you're wasting your breath really, America believes strongly in the 2nd amendment and it isn't changing, probably ever.

Let me put it this way, if you had the current US government in control of your country, wouldn't you want to be armed? ;)

I don't think the President has as much power as people like to make out. I'd own a gun in America regardless of the President or government, it's a very different culture over there, they aren't just British people with a different accent.
