Huawei P9 worth it for £160?

As title really, used obviously.

Coming from a Oneplus One, looking for a better camera than what I have currently.

For Photos its a really good camera, Videos not so much as it does not have OIS.

For £160 though i'd snap it up, if you dont like you could probably sell it on for more.

Also Android 7 is in Beta testing now and has a much more stock like feel to it thanks to having a app drawer and better notification tray.
 
Cheers guys, nice to hear that Android N has a more AOSP feel to it, is there anything special you have to do to get the beta, or is it best waiting for the release?

I guess I'll go pick it up then!

Then open and enroll if spaces are still available and then you'll get a OTA for the Beta.
 
Umm where are you getting it for £160, do you mean the P9 Lite?

If it is indeed the P9 then thats a cracking deal.

Can anyone recommend a decent quality case for it? Don't want a flip/smart style case, prefer bumper style, and if possible a finish like the genuine Apple ones.
 
Has anyone managed to upgrade the p9 to Android N? I have no OTA or other option to upgrade and honestly sick to death of these absurd waiting times to get it - I was considering rooting it and installing stock Android if there's no issues doing so

Try using Hisuit http://consumer.huawei.com/minisite/HiSuite_en/index.html and connecting your phone to it then looking for an update, it should have had N by now.
 
Last I read is that N was delayed... again.

Still not managed to even get a beta build of "N" on my P9, always fails the install regardless of if I do hidden menu, boot into loader or even using Firmware Finder/Proxy to get the updates through the built-in updater.

Nope, no luck using HiSuite or Firmware Finder.

Do you reckon there's any issues rooting and installing stock Android?
