Worked from home yesterday. The portable air con was a life saver.

The guys outside fixing some kerb stones in the road looked like they were melting.

I hope this isn't going to become the norm in the next decade.

According to climate change boffins, south Britain's weather is going to become like Spain's, and the north is going to have more extreme weather events.

Frankly I'd take the extreme weather over the heat, which saps my will to live. I'd rather dodge a hurricane or two.

I move jobs on Friday, new role/job comes with it's own air conditioned office - I have my own office now but sans AC and by god am I hot.

It's nice like but I'd rather be at home in the kids pool!
