Overclocking a gtx 1060 6gb

I have no idea what 1060 you have, but all 1060's have "GPU Boost 3.0" which automatically overclocks your GPU based on temperature. There isn't that much to gain from manual overclocking. Still give it a go though, just watch your temperatures.

ok thanks for the replies I like the sound of the 10% gains but I'm a bit nervous about trying to do the overclock after watching the video in the above post.

I have the gtx 1060 6gb gigabyte xtreme card that says on the their webpage
Boost: 1873 MHz / Base: 1645 MHz in OC mode
Boost: 1847 MHz / Base: 1620 MHz in Gaming mode
Now there is another setting called eco mode that shows lower clock speeds.
So I use that setting because I only have a 60hz monitor and get 100fps on most games I play.
But when I play games it boost to 1886mhz all the time. Why is this running so fast when its in eco mode?
The card does run cool at 45-55c, and on a very hot day (room temp was 28c) I saw it hit 59c.
