MSI GTX 1070 8GB running at 91c

Hi, I'm wondering if this is normal, that under load it runs at 91c even while using MSI afterburner and setting the max limit to 80c? I bought the card from overclockers about 6 months ago, and a few days ago my PSU fried, so I replaced it with a 650watt corsair PSU, and my temperatures are still 91c on full load, I think the card was already overclocked when I bought it, so is there a way to set it back to defaults without voiding my 3 years warranty? I don't need it overclocked it's more than capable of running any game, thanks in advance all

try msi afterburner to reduce clock rates.

I have, and I capped the max temp to 80c so I'm not sure why it's reaching 91c. I'm not entirely sure how to reduce the clock rates I've never over clocked or under clocked anything in my life haha, thanks.

got the side of the case off to make sure the fans are spinning up properly?

I pretty much built the whole thing again today for cable management and thought I'd may as well as I was putting a new PSU in any way, it's all working fine.

have you checked that the fan on the card is turning? was there any dust in the system? just wondering if the card maybe needs cleaned out.
