Gays don't call themselves Homosexuals. That's a word almost always used by people who claim to be tolerant and have lots of gay friends a word used usually steeped in contempt. It has the same connotation as the word Breeder is for straight people i.e. homo.

I can't possibly be homophobic I talked to a homosexual once.

Please tell me your three hour chat happened in your fairy tale pub where you happen to meet someone who is coincidentally GDs current hot topic, be it a eastern European migrant, Muslim from Birmingham or an American Trump voter :p

There you go, at it again, not happy to be legal, you want us to call you "Gay", that modern term that sounds bright hopeful and happy. You're legal, enough already, some of us don't want to be suckered in to the "Ohh lovely fun Gays", with all the vivacity that implies thing, just be happy to be legal for God's sake. We don't hate you, we don't embrace your lifestyle either, just get on with it....

Erm, pretty much everyone gay person I know refers to themselves as being homosexual.

A different pub, but still in Whitchurch :) I doubt he's the only homosexual in town. I don't recall talking to any European migrants or Birmingham Muslims though, in any pub in the town. Why do you think someone talking to a homosexual in a Whitchurch pub is so fantastical as to be a fairy tale? Bizarre....

Thank you kind sir for your generosity of allowing me to be legal. The audacity that you think you are superior to me and something that you should allow me to do is staggering.

If you spoke to the homosexual like that for three hours I'm surprised he didnt glass you.

In true communism there is no administrator in charge. However - true communism is far too beautiful a concept to ever actually exist. It is a system in which everyone is equal no-matter their ability.

Don't thank me, thank Leo Abse and Lord Arran for putting the Sexual Offences Act 1967 before parliament.

But before you thank them too deeply, ponder a moment on what Lord Arran said to parliament on presenting his bill:

"Lord Arran, in an attempt to minimise criticisms that the legislation would lead to further public debate and visibility of issues relating to homosexual civil rights made the following qualification to this "historic" milestone: "I ask those [homosexuals] to show their thanks by comporting themselves quietly and with dignity… any form of ostentatious behaviour now or in the future or any form of public flaunting would be utterly distasteful… [And] make the sponsors of this bill regret that they had done what they had done"

Gay Pride parades are what he gets these days in respect of his endeavours..... Can you hear his sigh of regret?
 
You do know that not every gay person supports or goes to pride right?

I dislike the depravity that happens but I understand it is necessary, it is to spite people like you who think you allow us to exist.
 
Am I the only one that desperately wants to visit Chris Wilson's pub? :D It sounds like something out of Victorian England. "I had a conversation with a homosexual once, you know..."
